LES QUATRE VENTS: FRANCIS H. CABOT’S QUEBEC GARDEN

via Zoom  / HWGC members & Guests,
Open to the Public / $10 donations suggested

Landscape designer, lecturer, and writer Sally Muspratt will take us on a slide show tour
of Les Quatre Vents, located in Charlevoix County, Quebec.

The Les Quatre Vents garden in La Malbaie belonged to the parents of Francis H. Cabot
who enlarged it and wrote a book about it entitled The Greater Perfection, the story of the Gardens

at Les Quatre Vents. Cabot was a horticulturist and the founder of the Nature Conservancy in 1989.
Les Quatre Vents is now considered one of the world’s most breathtaking public gardens.
The garden is described as “seamlessly combining elements from the best
gardening traditions with the original and the unexpected into a splendid composition that
is nevertheless perfectly compatible with its natural surroundings.”
Sally’s presentation will offer us beautiful views of this wonderful garden to help

chase our winter blues away!

Sally McGuire Muspratt, owner of Sally Muspratt Landscape Design, Inc.
