events

Our activities center around the education and celebration,
of all things floral, horticultural and conservational.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, in-person programming has been moved to virtual presentations for the coming year.

The HWGC holds monthly meetings Wednesday evenings, September through June. Some of the meetings are open to the community while others are members only.
The club has traditionally held two fundraisers a year, a Winter Holiday arrangement sale and a May plant sale. Covid-19 brings new opportunities to do things differently and new ideas for fundraising events.    Stay tuned!
Floral and horticultural competitions open to club members have traditionally been held at in-person meetings, helping members to build confidence and skills in those areas. Monthly competitions hava been suspended, however the club is exploring new ways to continue the tradition, in what is for 2020-2021, a year of virtual meetings.

We had a Member's virtual Plant Sale in the Fall. Now we're looking forward to next May when hopefully we will be back to an in-person sale open to the public, with a native plant section.

The Topsfield Fair Flower Show competition was cancelled for 2020.
We encourage members to enter floral design and horticulture competitions, when
in-person programs resume.
See you at the Fair 2021?
