Our activities center around the education and celebration,
of all things floral, horticultural and conservational.
•• Club events :   We had a fun and informative year
of programs for 2024-2025.
Check back for our September event,
opening the 2025-2026 programing year.

Enjoy your summer!

HWGC events range from speaker presentations and demonstrations,
to fundraisers, floral design, and horticultural competitions.
Select programs are open to the public as part of our desire to share gardening resources and knowledge with our community.

The HWGC holds monthly program meetings Wednesday evenings, September through May. Some of the meetings are open to the community while others are members only.

The club has traditionally held two fundraisers a year, a Winter
Holiday event
and a May plant sale.

Floral and horticultural competitions, open to club members have traditionally been held at in-person meetings, helping members to build confidence and skills in those areas.

Our Spring Plant Sale
was held May 11, 2024

This year we sold annuals, vegetables, tomatoes, and hanging plants purchased from a wholesaler only. There were not any dig & divide perennials from our own gardens because of the Asian jumping worms.
the 2023 Winter Lights Family Festival was held
December 3rd
at the Wenham Museum's Burnham Hall. It was fun for the whole family, with games, activities, and yes, it included our popular Deco Delights creations!
Stay tuned for 2024 details!

We encourage members to enter floral design and horticulture competitions, at
