Design and Horticulture Competitions
for

​Design Competition   Class: One is Fun: A Design with an emphasis on one plant species                         
            A free digital version of the Handbook for Flower Shows may be accessed here.

Horticultural Competition
​Class 1. Annual: (one stem) a. Cosmos; b. Salvia; c. Sunflower; d. Zinnia
Class 2. Perennial: (one stem or spray) a. Aster; b. Sedum (with at least true leaves);  c. Any other worthy specimen
Class 3. Dahlia: (one stem with one set of leaves required)
Class 4. Hosta: (1 leaf) a. giant or large leaved; b. medium leaved; c. small or miniature leaved
Class 5. Vegetable: a. Cucumber (3 on a plate); b. Pepper (with stem, 3 on a plate); c.Tomato (with stem, 3 on a plate)
