            Ecological Landscapes
                           with Andrew Whittaker

viaZoom, for HWGC members
                                    and the Community at Large

Winter is the time we dream about and plan for our gardens,
but where
do you begin? How do you factor in our annual
summer water bans and
climate change?
Starting with foundational principles in how ecological
landscapes are approached, Andrew Whittaker discussed the creation of various gardens from site analysis, design, and up through the construction phases of their development.
The audience was visually led through each step of the process.
Focus was paid towards designing with native plants, edible plants, rainwater
harvesting, and gardens that support our pollinators.
Andrew Whittaker is a filmmaker turned garden designer.
He is the owner and founder of Green Abundance by Design.
