HWGC events range from speaker presentations and demonstrations,
to fundraisers, floral design, and horticultural competitions. Select programs are open to the public as part of our desire to share gardening resources and knowledge with our community. Not a member? We admit new members each April and November. See Membership for details. 
One of HWGC's civic activities is the Junior’s Program, designed to encourage young budding gardeners to learn about gardening. Our hope is to inspire an appreciation for the Earth and gardening while making each project fun and rewarding.

Conservation is an ongoing theme for the club. Get the Dirt on Good Dirt (well, soil) at our March 17th program event. Good soil reduces erosion, increases water infiltration and storage & improves air and water quality. Composting helps! Let's improve our soil quality and productivity. |
