Pingree Park Garden:  Spring Prep,  March 26th

At this time of year we look forward to Spring being around the corner, anxiously awaiting bulbs popping through and the forsythia to sprout yellow blooms.
To prepare we have our Spring cleanup day, March 26th.
Come join in,
bring clippers and a bucket or tub to carry plant material and anything else that makes you comfortable.
Stay for a pruning workshop with Matt Martin.  He will guide us through
basic pruning, demonstrating on a few different shrubs,
answer your questions and provide some take home information.

Pingree Park Garden is a mini Public Garden or a ‘Garden Space’ that lives as a project maintained by HWGC members and volunteers, for many years to come.

Our theme for this year is
Garden to Renew, Restore, and Revitalize
As Lady Bird Johnson once said, "Where flowers bloom, so does hope."
Although this past year saw isolation, cancellation, anxiety, and grief, we hope that gardening, whether the physical act or the enjoyment of, brought peace and nourishment to your soul. We look forward to a
year filled with enlightenment, joy, friendship, and laughter!
"To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow."   - Audrey Hepburn
